Mike Wenig and Vaughn Ramsey, with Tuggle Duggins & Meschan, PA, will discuss current year developments in state and federal taxation, including major changes in individual, corporate taxation, estate, and gift taxation.
The primary focus is to provide a brief overview of areas which have changed since last year and may have the most impact on practitioners in the 2009 filing season. In addition to legislation developments, changes to the regulations, case law developments, and Department of Revenue and IRS pronouncements will be covered. At the state level, we will touch on sales and use tax changes. Finally, Mike and Vaughn will share any planning ideas that might be of benefit to your clients and your practice. |
