Join the Charlotte Chapter on Wednesday, November 4, from 8:00–11:40 am as we welcome Mike Wenig and Vaughn Ramsey, both of Tuggle Duggins & Meschan, for a North Carolina State Tax Update & MultiState Tax Discussion at the Hilton Executive Park in Charlotte. In this session, Mike and Vaughn discuss current year developments in state taxation, including major changes in individual, corporate, and sales and use. The primary focus is to provide a brief overview of areas which have changed since last year and may have the most impact on practitioners going into the 2009 filing season.
 

In addition, there will be a discussion of recent events in the area of multistate sales and use tax and the current state of the streamline sales tax project.  We will discuss how these recent changes are affecting the general concepts of nexus and what impact they are having on multistate income taxation.
